Amritsari Fish
INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATION
- Fish Fillet -500 gms (pangasius)
- Lemon Juice-1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic-1tsp
- Salt
- Mustard Oil-1 tsp
- Hing-1/3 tsp
- Kasoori Methi
You have to use any sweet water white fish fillets.We have here Pangasius Frozen fish fillets ,you can use any fish like Surmai or as available to you.Cut the fish fillet in to medium pieces.Tap well with cloth to remove excess water.
Add Lemon juice ,salt,ginger garlic paste hing and rub gentaly .
INGRIDENT FOR FISH FRY
- Marinated fish
- Curd-1 tbsp
- Besan-2 tbsp
- Rice flour -1 tbsp
- Corn flour-1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri lal mirch-1 tbsp
- Ajwain-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Oil-for fry
METHODA
Add curd to fish and mix gentey .Add besan ,rice flour ,corn flour, ajwain, turmaric powder and kashmiri chilli powder for red color.Mix gently.
Deep fry these pieces in batches on medium high heat till light brown.You can keep like this and finish by flash frying when ready to serve.
For flash frying,which gives it a nice crispness,fry pan the fish on high heat for a minute.Be careful not to burn them.
