Pizza



INGREDIENT 
FOR PIZZA DOUGH  
  • 2 cups maida or origano plain flour or all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast .
  • 1/2 cup water +1 tbsp (use as nedded)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp sugar
Note: You can skipp making Pizza dough for Pizza base and use a purchased one.

FOR PIZZA SAUCE
  • 400 grams tomatoes fine chopped or pureed.
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced or chopped finely.
  • 1 tsp Red chiily flakes.
  • 11/2 to 3/4 tsp oregano.
  • salt as needed.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper cursed or powder.
  • 1 1/2 oil(oliv oil)
  • 1 tsp sugar
FOR PIZZA TOPPINGS
  • 2OO grms mozzarella cheese 
  • 1 1/2 cup  mix veg (capsicum ,onion ,tomatoes,olive)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp oregano.
  • 1/4 chili flakes

METHOD
MAKING PIZZA DOUGH
  1. Pour like warm water to a mixing bowl.
  2. Dip your finger and ensure the water is warm not hot .
  3. Hot water kills the yeast so avoid it.
  4. Add yeast and sugar to luke warm water and stir it.
  5. Set aside for 10n to 15 mins and allow to proof.
  6. After 15 mins the yeast should active and turn bubbly or frothy.
  7. If the water doesn't turn by then ,the yeast is inactive and cannot be used or the dough.
  8. When the water turns forthy ,add flour ,salt and oil.
  9. Next mix and make a dough adding more water if needed.
  10. Knead the dough very well until very soft and pliable for about 5 to 7 mins.
  11. The dough must be soft and elastic.
  12. When you press down the pizza dough with your finger,it must dent and bounce back.
  13. Move this to a warm place like a shelf in your kitchen.
  14. Allow the dough to rise and double in size. it may take any wher from 2 to 3 hours depending on the weather condition.

PREPARING PIZZA SAUCE

  1. Meanwhile, Prepare the tomato pizza sauce.
  2. To make sauce, heat oil in a pan and saute garlic until it smells good.
  3. Then add red chili flakes and then onions if using. Saute until they turn slightly golden.
  4. Add tomatoes, salt and sugar. Stir and continue to cook covering partially as it splatters a lot.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add herbs and crushed pepper.
  6. Now rinse and cube the veggies. Separate the layers of onions.

HOW TO MAKE PIZZA

  1. Preheat the oven or OTG at 180 C for 30 min.
  2. Shape the dough into balls.
  3. Sprinkle some corn meal over the pizza tray.
  4. Place the pizza dough over the tray.
  5. Add few drops of oil and begin to flatten it.
  6. Spread the pizza sauce as desired. Layer the veggies,paneer  and then grated cheess.
  7. Lastly sprinkle Italian herbs abd red chilli flakes.
  8. Bake for 20 min until the base is cooked and cheess trurns slightly golden.
  9. Slice and serve pizza hot and worm.
