MAHURA MAHAPRASAD(CURRY)without onion ,garlic,ginger


INGREDIENTS
  • Pumpkin 1.5 cups
  • Yam or suran 1 cup
  • Raw Banana 1 cup
  • Beans 5
  • Urad Dal Badi 8 fried
  • Turmeric 1/2 tspn
  • Jaggery 2 1 tbsp


  • Green Chilli 3 Chopped
  • Taro root (arbi) 1/2 cup
  • Carrot 1/2 cup
  • Sweet potato 1/2 cup
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • grated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Cheek pee(Brown chana) 100gm (Soak it before 1 night)
  • Salt as per taste



FOR PASTE
Fennel Seed 2 tbpn
Cumin seeds 1 tspn
Bay leaf 2
Black paper 1 tsp freshly cruse 


FOR TADKA
Mustard 1 tspn
Dry Red chillie 2
Ghee 3 tspn

METHOD
  1. First cut all the veggies into small cubes.
  2. Fry Badi till brown in oil.

  3. Put ghee in pan once heated put the paste in it stear it for 2 min.

  4. Put all the cut vegetables,cheek pee, turmeric salt according to taste stear it for 2 min.
  5. Put 1/4 liter water cover the lid and biol it for 15 to 20 min.

  6. Then add jageri, coconut and Badi stear it for 2 min and cook it for 5 min.
  7. For tadka boil ghee in a separate pan once heated put dry chilly and mustard.

  8. Fry for 2 min then put it on curry stear it.
  9. Put crushed coconut for garnishing.
  10. Delicious Mahura is ready to serve.
