Dum Alu

INGREDIENTS:
  • 500 gm boiled baby potato
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tsp kahmiri lal mirch powder
  • 1 tsp red chiili powder
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp Cummin
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 Almond
  • 4 Cacshew
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 3 tsp magaz
  • 1 tsp dum masala
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 3 tbsp oil'
  • Salt as required

METHOD: 
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, tomato, gnger and garlic.
  2. Fry it for 5 min and leave it sometime to cool.


  3. Put it inside a blender add cashew, magaz, almond and make a paste.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, put boiled potato, add turmeric, salt and fry it till little brown.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, put cumin, once its heated put the paste prepared earlier in it. Fry it for 9 min.
  6. Add dum masala, garam masala, kasuri methi and kasmiri lal mirch. Mix and Fry it well for 5 min.

  7. Put fried potato and mix it for 2 min.
  8. Add 1 cup water and cook it for 2 min.

  9. Now our dum Alu is ready to serve.
