Chicken tikka
INGREDIENTS
- 500 gms boneless and cubed.
- 1 1/2 tbsp gram flour or besan
- 1/2 cup curd
- 2 large onion cubed
- salt as needed
- 1 tbsp oil preferable mustard oil
- 1 to 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 Capsicum
- 3/4 to 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp pepper powder
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tbsp kasuri methi
- 3/4 to 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
Preparation for chicken tikka
- Take curd in a mixing bowl along with red chilli powder pepper powder turmeric kasuri methi garam masala and coriander powder.
- Next add lemon juice and oil. Mix everything well.
- Add the cubed chicken to marinade. Marinate the chicken for at least an hour to 12 hours. Longer the chicken rests more flavorful & soft it will turn out. You have to refrigerate if marinating for longer than an hour.
- Preheat microwave oven for 10 min in 180 degree.
- Cube the veggies and add it to the marinade. Smear the marinade over it. Put them on to skewers alternating veggies and chicken . Place these over the preheated tray.
- Start the microwave oven with 200 degree for 30 min.
